4. Product Analytics & Telemetry (PostHog)

To help us understand application performance, detect bugs, and improve user experience, we use privacy-focused product analytics (PostHog). This service collects anonymized data such as page navigation, feature usage, device type, and application errors.

We strictly maintain financial privacy: Your specific bank credentials, individual transaction amounts, and sensitive personal financial details are never transmitted to or processed by our analytics providers.

We use essential cookies and browser local storage to maintain your active authentication session, remember your user interface preferences (such as calendar layout and dark theme), and record your privacy preferences.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.

You have the right to opt out of product analytics at any time. When you first visit the application, you may choose to Accept or Decline analytics tracking via our on-screen privacy banner. If you choose to decline, all analytics telemetry is immediately disabled, and no tracking cookies will be stored on your device.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We only share information with trusted infrastructure providers as necessary to deliver our services (such as Supabase for secure cloud storage and Plaid for bank syncing), to comply with legal obligations, or with your explicit consent.
